Why Birge
Cheaper together
The car's price is split between everyone. The more travellers, the less each pays — and you see the full-group price in advance.
People with ratings
After a trip, travellers leave reviews. Before you request a seat, you can see how others travelled with the organiser.
Moderation
Any message or participant can be reported. Reports are reviewed by the Birge team.
Three languages
English, Russian and Korean — the site adapts to your phone's language.
FAQ
What is Birge?
A shared transfer service for Central Asia. An organiser posts a trip: route, date, number of seats and the price of the car. Others join as travellers, and the cost of the ride is split between everyone.
How much does a trip cost?
The organiser sets the price for the whole car, or an estimate if no driver has been found yet. Each person's share is that amount divided by the number of travellers. The trip page shows what it comes to now and with a full group.
How do I pay?
Birge doesn't take payments. Travellers agree on payment with the organiser in the trip chat.
Do I need an account?
Not to browse trips. To request a seat or create your own trip, you need an account.
Can I cancel my request?
Yes, in one tap, as long as the organiser hasn't answered. You can also leave a trip you've been accepted to — your seats are freed for others.
What if the trip is cancelled?
Everyone gets a notification, and the group chat stays open so you can arrange something else.
What about routes that aren't listed?
Any route nobody is organising yet. Create a trip on your own route, with stops along the way — everyone looking for travel companions on that route will see it.
Didn't find your trip?
Create it in a couple of minutes — travellers on the same route will see it in the catalogue.
